VMFA is on a nautical journey to inspire, educate and promote films, finance films and work with production partners who are stewardship minded. Our organization promotes films of faith. We have many production companies who partner with us who carry the same faith part of who we are!

Our VISION

Veritas Mission Films (VMF) began its non-profit mission in January of 2014 to promote stories from people in "every tribe and every nation." We strive to engage with the broken, hear their hearts, identify their needs and create a global dialogue. Our mission-based projects always align with our Judaeo-Christian heritage and our mission. We use the visual language to work with many production companies equally yoked to share faith on a global scale. 

Hillcrest Baptist in Stillwater, Oklahoma, commissioned our media missionaries into the marketplace to share stories. In the same way Jesus told parables like those found in Mark 4. We desire to love people right where they are by creating community and fulfilling needs using cinema as our primary tool. The Bible reveals that through trials, afflictions, troubles and struggles, there is a gateway to hope. Through life's worst difficulties, we are challenged to persevere. This creates endurance where character excels. We strive to illuminate the journeys of ordinary people used in extraordinary ways.

AFRICAN MINISTRY


The MAISHA PROJECT and VERITAS MISSION FILMS became ministry partners in August of 2018. Beatrice Williamson, the founder and executive director, shows Christ's love to the abandoned, orphaned and vulnerable children in the rural villages of Kenya. Our ministry currently feeds 900 children a day, and we have taken over 500 mission-based individuals on life-changing trips to Africa. We also provide education, economic empowerment and healthcare for families at our clinic in Kissimu. They are even now working on a RUN FOR HUNGER.

Projects making news

High School Senior Caleb Freeman recently appeared on the NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt two weeks in a row. They featured him for completing his first race since the horrific accident that nearly cost his brother and him their lives in 2017.
NBC did a follow-up story just seven days later after Caleb was crowned homecoming king. His miraculous recovery from a traumatic brain injury that left him in a wheelchair swept the nation. Now, he regularly speaks to large audiences  about his faith and determination.
Caleb also appeared in an article in PEOPLE MAGAZINE. His life-changing experience and humble humor draws thousands and over 3 million hits. Recently, THE DOCTORS invited him to come on their show to discuss his recovery and new outlook on life. Doors in media are opening up everywhere.
