VMFA is on a nautical journey finding home bases for faith in our operations.  Our media mission is to create, promote and finance films at the highest level working with A&E, Biography, History, ESPN, streaming platforms like Hulu, Amazon Prime and exclusively beginning on the new streaming platform scheduled for 2025 by OCEANIA STUDIOS called "OCINEMA.CLUB". .  
We have worked with many production partners who are stewardship minded and veterans. Our organization promotes films of faith while family and freedom is an essential framework.
Award winning filmmakers Marshall Teague, Lindy Teague, John Chalfant,  Lynn McAfee, Dr. Miller Bargeron, Jim Gromer, Jag Gholson, Jennifer Willingham, Julie Spencer and many professional filmmakers with studio and independent film experience are keys to success.  Our team has used production facilities from coast to coast from Disney, Sony, and Universal, who partner with us in telling stories for the purpose of impacting the world.

Our VISION

Veritas Mission Films (VMF) began its non-profit missional journey in January 2014. VMFA promotes stories from people in "every tribe and every nation." We engage with the broken, hear their hearts, identify their needs and create a global dialogue. Our mission-based projects always align with our Judaeo-Christian heritage in our mission. We use the visual language to work with many production companies equally yoked to share faith on a global scale and are thankful for these friends.  

Every family truly has a story.  What is your story and how can we help you, whether it is on a film or in real life, we are here.

Many of our films begin in the non-profit universe and some include a  transition into feature length movies with profit films. Other projects are ministry based and have a new set of directives.  

Hillcrest Baptist in Stillwater, Oklahoma, commissioned our founder into the marketplace to share stories. In the same way Jesus told parables like those found in Mark 4. We desire to love people right where they are by creating community and fulfilling needs using cinema as our primary tool. The Bible reveals that through trials, afflictions, troubles and struggles, there is a gateway to hope. Through life's worst difficulties, we are challenged to persevere. This creates endurance where character excels. We strive to share the journeys of ordinary people used in extraordinary ways.  We find many of these stories from the local church and the people of God.

VERITAS 300 PRAYER TEAM

VMFA formed a prayer group on the FACEBOOK platform called VERITAS MISSION FILMS.  This is a coalition of prayer warriors who share prayer requests and pray for our group, it's people and beyond.  Because the foundation of VMFA is helping others. 
Your prayer support provides the foundation for our ministry. Secondly, your giving to our Donation page for VMFA provides sustainability for outreach.  In January of 2023 we will begin a new initiative for giving.  This will be the beginning of our tenth year as a ministry.  Here are the highlights!  We thank you for making all of this possible!

  • THE SAMARITAN - Another award winning documentary with Samaritan, Edward Roush, who risked his life to save a Romanian defector in Paul Furica.  Colonel Oliver North shared the story from the White House's perspective under President Reagan originally chronicling the brave and courageous lawyer who sacrificed and freed the Romanian.

  • THROUGH THE VALLEY - The award winning documentary which provided the basis for the story and the feature film, BEAUTIFULLY BROKEN. Set in Rwanda during one of the worst worst genocides in human history.

  • #BUT GOD - The award winning feature documentary is soon to be released from the ECPA best selling book from Harper/Nelson Books.

  • JOY IN THE MORNING - The award winning film of Jenny Kufahl and her courageous battle against cancer. In the middle of a tragic story, she stood up for God in a way most people would have never imagined.  alongside a family who understood the power of heaven in an amazing tribute to her life. This wonderful story was created with Executive Producers, John and Deani Merrell.  

  • FINAL WORDS OF WWII - The highest award winning documentary with over forty one film awards worldwide including Academy Award Qualified Entry of the true Story of three heroes with Executive Producers Jim & Loretta Segars and Kirk.  Loretta Segars is the author of SAND IN TUSCANY.  The new feature film is WAR BRIDE. 

  • DIVINE INSPIRATIONS - An award winning documentary film with powerful stories of redemption and hope from Forshia Ross Ministries in Rhode Island is now being made into a documentary for film festivals in 2023. 

  • THE SUPERNATURAL STORY OF FREDERICK FULLER - is set to enter the Feature Documentary released in film festivals in 2024. Jim Gromer and Dr. Kevin McAfee has completed this exciting feature. ​

  • STORY OR JESUS - ADVENTURES OF THE BIBLE - The screenplay was originally created from Jim Gromer, who brought in Dr. Kevin McAfee to launch the entire series.  Paul Conner, a professional animation expert is a creator in this series.   
At the Will Rogers Film Festival winning the Best Feature Documentary Award and so humbled to be honored in representing Veritas Mission Film Association. What a great experience by Tad Jones and the historical Will Rogers Museum amazing festival.

KENYA, AFRICAN ORPHANS & WIDOWS OUTREACH


The MAISHA PROJECT and VERITAS MISSION FILMS became ministry partners in August of 2018. Beatrice Williamson, the founder and executive director, shows Christ's love to the abandoned, orphaned and vulnerable children in the rural villages of Kenya. Our ministry currently feeds 900 children a day, and we have taken over 500 mission-based individuals on life-changing trips to Africa. We also provide education, economic empowerment and healthcare for families at our clinic in Kissimu. They are even now working on a RUN FOR HUNGER.  Also, each year Father Christmas does zoom calls and donates to the ministry each year.  We adopt children, attend events and support this group in prayer weekly.

FILM Projects IN THE NATIONAL news

High School Senior Caleb Freeman recently appeared on the NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt two weeks in a row. They featured him for completing his first race since the horrific accident that nearly cost his brother and him their lives in 2017.
NBC did a follow-up story just seven days later after Caleb was crowned homecoming king. His miraculous recovery from a traumatic brain injury that left him in a wheelchair swept the nation. Now, he regularly speaks to large audiences  about his faith and determination.
Caleb also appeared in an article in PEOPLE MAGAZINE. His life-changing experience and humble humor draws thousands and over 3 million hits. Recently, THE DOCTORS invited him to come on their show to discuss his recovery and new outlook on life. Doors in media are opening up everywhere.
